Carol Church

Serving as Ministry Assistant at Calvary Baptist Church since November 1999 has been one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done, because God surely placed me here. He called me from the secular workforce where I had worked in the Accounting Department for 22 years when Raytheon, a local military defense contractor, closed in December of 1998.

 

During the time from January to October 1999 He caused me to fall in love with His Word through Precepts Bible Studies and created in me a desire to serve Him in full-time ministry. That's when He opened the door at Calvary Baptist Church and allowed me to fulfill my heart's desire of serving Him and His people in
full-time ministry.

 

I am married to the love of my life and soul-mate, Gary Church, since 1980. We have one daughter, Leslie, and three dogs. I enjoy target shooting my Taurus 9mm and Colt Buntline 22 long-barrel, riding our Yamaha V-star, and leading Precepts Bible Studies at the church I attend, University Parkway Baptist where I also serve on the Audio/Visual Team, Women's Ministry team, and the Billy Graham TVTM team.
